What it means
A field of the request is missing, malformed or out of range. Nothing was created.Common causes
- A required field was left out, or has the wrong type.
- A phone number that is not valid E.164, a negative amount, or a value that is not in the field’s fixed list.
- A query parameter such as a timestamp or a cursor that does not parse.
What to do
- Read
error.param. It names the field that failed, and the message says what is wrong with it. - Check the field against the endpoint’s page in the reference, then repeat the request.
- When several fields are wrong, the response names one at a time. Fix it and call again.
error.request_id. Quote it if you write to support, and read Debugging your integration to look the call up yourself.
